Great location, amazing views, wonderful breakfast! the staff was extremely helpful and acommondating. the spa was top notch - best massage on our trip! although I think value for money does not match, it is the best place to stay in vang vieng if you are looking for chill days by the pool. if you are - like us - exploring a lot it is not really worth it.

Stunning resort, beautifully decorated. The views from the pool are next level. We sprung for the Tai Daeng suite, with wraparound balcony, and it was worth every penny - spectacular. The buffet breakfast was also exceptional - french toast croissants!! Staff couldn't be more helpful. Location is great, walkable to everything, but feels set apart and secluded. Also went for spa treatments in the open air bamboo huts, overlooking the kharst mountains - I took 2h45 mins of reflexology, full body massage and scrub for roughly £38. Highly recommend!!

The hotel is beautiful... set on the river in lush gardens. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. bath robes and slippers were provided. The restaurant served delicious local food and good wine. Breakfast served a variety of buffet style dishes. The pool area was great for relaxing with good poolside service of food and drinks. Staff were super helpful when it came to organising trips and transfers. And also accommodated our request for a later check out.

Beautiful location next to the river where you can see the mountains, hot air balloons and sunset. Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices that include tax and service fee. We can recommend the special Lao digest menu. The waiter was kind enough to inform us that sharing a single dinner maybe enough for us. Lovely lampoons at night in the garden around the pool. Quiet at night. Good mountain bikes available free of charge. Excellent breakfast with combination of Lao en Western dished and even plain yoghurt with no sugar. Extra room cleanup early in the evening.

Lovely location alongside the river with great views of the peaks. The French/Laos designed hotel is beautifully thought out. Nice pool with comfortable chaise. The cafe/bar has very comfortable layout and decoration with antiques and views. The restaurant may be the nicest in town. People come from outside the resort to dine. It’s very reasonably priced and the setting couldn’t be prettier. Lanterns in the trees and perfect lighting around the gardens. My husband hurt his back before we got there and we just stayed four nights healing in this very serene spot. All the waiters could not have been nicer! So attentive and always bringing pillows for my husband’s chairs. The rooms were immaculate and the bedding fresh. Excellent oasis beside the river!

Great location along the River looking out at the stunning rock formations. The grounds were beautifully tended and the rooms clean, pretty and well outfitted. Lovely pool area and simple but nice spa. Staff were pleasant and not ingratiating, mostly helpful.

The hotel garden’s are pretty and the view of the pool and mountains is nice. Breakfast was excellent, not the best coffee Ive had in Asia but passable. An excellent selection of fruit, yogurt, breads and pastries and Asian breakfast. Egg station. Bed was very comfortable. There were free mountain bikes although the gears were a little dodgey.

Beautiful setting, comfortable room. Restaurant had good menu and not exorbitant prices, which meant you could eat there. We had Yao room, which was fantastic though any room would be fabulous. This really is the only place to stay in Vang Vieng. Close to the bridge as well so you can get to the side where the nicer cafes are.

Beautiful resort with the best view from the room balcony we have enjoyed anywhere around the world. Try to get rooms LL 5, 6 ,7 or 8 if possible as they look out on the resort pool with the spectacular karst mountains in the background. The restaurant was also first class. My wife has a severe MSG allergy, and Emilie went to great lengths to make sure she didn't eat the wrong food. In fact, all of the staff were super friendly. The resort is also right on the river and just a short walk up a (bumpy) road to the main street. From 5pm-7pm every night they have happy hour in the bar with 50% off already reasonably priced drinks. Being able to sit out the front sipping French rose while watching the longtail boats go up and down the river was perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

We upgraded to the Tai Daeng suite. It was incredible. The balcony was huge (with great views across the river and the grounds) and the room was amazing. The bed was massive and really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the food in the restaurant was very good. The pool was exceptional. The best we experienced in Laos. The staff were really nice and very friendly (a special shout out to Air on reception).
